Parents' Conduct Policy

At International Torah Academy, we strive to cultivate a respectful, trusting, and peaceful partnership between families and the school. To maintain a healthy learning environment for our students and a supportive workplace for our staff, all parents and guardians are expected to uphold the following standards of conduct.

1. Respectful Communication

Parents must engage with faculty, staff, administrators, and other school families in a courteous and respectful manner at all times, whether in person, by phone, email, or any other form of communication.

2. Protection of School Reputation

Public defamation, slander, or misrepresentation of the school, its students, or its staff — including on social media — is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate action.

3. Safe and Supportive Environment

Harassment, intimidation, aggressive speech, or threatening behavior toward any student, teacher, staff member, or fellow parent will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

4. Respect for School Decisions

Parents are encouraged to share questions or feedback, but must do so through proper channels and with a respectful tone. Decisions made by school administration regarding academics, discipline, and school policy are to be respected and followed unless formally appealed through the school’s established process.

5. Privacy and Boundaries

Parents and students are welcome to engage with each other in friendly and respectful ways outside of school, provided that all parties are comfortable and interactions remain positive.
However, parents may not involve other students, staff, or families in school-related complaints, disputes, or disciplinary matters outside of official school communication channels. All concerns must be directed to the school administration to protect the dignity and well-being of everyone involved.

Violation of Policy

Failure to uphold this Parent Conduct Policy may result in consequences, including, but not limited to:

  • Formal written warning

  • Restricted access to staff communication

  • Dismissal of the family from the school

  • Termination of enrollment contract

  • Legal action if required
